Hi Laura, I LOVE this format! Congrats! I love seeing your video intro and updates. Keep up the great work. You'll have to teach me someday!! Have a great time in Scotland, it's on my list. Are you going for the Fringe festival? I have several friends going. Keep us up to date on Scotland too. Take care!

Ciao!

Thanks for the sweet comment, Mary Ann! I don't think we'll be going to the Fringe Festival, but we do have tickets for the Tattoo and Braemar Gathering.

Next meetup in Nice? ;)

we really enjoy your writing. 3 of us, myself my wife and our 34 yr old daughter are headed to Florence, Positano and Rome in less than 2 weeks. 4 of those days include a stop in Positano. we are staying at the Hotel Poseidon. I Any tips on making our way around town. Again, thanks for all the information. George

Hi George, sounds like a great Italy trip you have coming up very soon! The Hotel Poseidon is beautiful - what a view. There's a new book out by Rebecca Serle called "One Italian Summer" that is based in Positano and actually at the hotel Poseidon. Might make a good pre-trip or fun travel read during your stay! If you're up for steps, there's a staircase that takes you from near the hotel straight down to the beach. Or you can follow the road through town and avoid a lot of the steps. There are so many great restaurants nearby ... head to Da Vincenzo, Next2, Mediterraneo. And my favorite spot is Casa e Bottega for fresh juices, salad, and brunch. They're all right around the Hotel Poseidon. Have a wonderful time!

Hi Laura, great tips, having spent 10 wonderful days on the Amalfi coast in 2018 based in the gorgeous little village of Atrani, and doing a lot of walking, couldn't agree more!. Love reading your blogs and seeing the wonderful pics of the Amalfi coast! Keep it coming - great job - Ciao!

Thanks so much, Denise! Ah Atrani is such a lovely place to be based. I love all the little walkways and staircases that look like mazes exactly out of an M.C. Escher print ... because he did create a lot of artwork of Atrani.
